Tata Motors has announced its hike for passenger cars, except Nano and Aria. The rise, from January 2011, may be in the range of 1.5% to compensate the rising input costs, said the company’s VP for Commercial, Passenger Cars Business Unit. This will make Tata Motors join the other players like Hyundai Motors, GM and Volkswagen who have also announced such hike for their cars for the reasons which are obvious.
