By fuelling its new Fiat 500 sub compact, the Italian car maker Fiat is making a re-entry into the roads of the US. The move comes after the take over the US car maker Chrysler last year and this time Fiat is too shrewd to taste the success. It was in 1983 that Fiat made exit from the US market on the account of rusting problems and unable to deliver to the needs of prescribed quality standards. However this venture now is a challenge to Fiat to prove its mettle in providing the quality at its best. The new product is peppy Fiat 500 subcompact at the cost of $15500 which is still lesser by $5000 than the competitor Mini Cooper. Technically, Fiat 500 will be fitted with a 1.4 lit, 4-cylinder engine and three-doors and will be a hatchback. Termed as the Cinquecento, the car was on display at the Los Angeles international Auto show recently.
